A lot of years ago, I wanted to find a few short films to score.  I was trying to build my catalog, and I wanted to work some short films before trying my hand and full-length.  A mutual friend of Tyler Bastianson ripped four or five of his videos (I THINK, with his permission), and I LOVE his stuff!!!!  I really loved the way the music turned out on these two short films.  If anyone knows Tyler, PLEASE help me get in touch with him.  I can’t find him online anywhere, and I want him to see this stuff!!!

Pool was just a blast. Tyler originally had a Rat Pack era Big Band thing going on, and it sounded really great. But, I had to take a run at this Bluesy thing. It’s just a Fender Thinline through minimal effects. Wanted to keep it raw and nasty. The whole guitar is dropped. To D, I think. Just felt right for the slow, Bluesy, cigar-stained pool hall vibe. I like this one a lot.
